FALL 2024 TEAM
REECE LITTLETON
Reece Littleton is a senior at UNCW majoring in Communication Studies who is excited to graduate this December! Reece is heavily involved in his major as he is the President of the Communication Studies Society and a member of the Lambda Pi Eta honor society. Reece hopes to bring his skills and experience from the major as one of the Vice Presidents of Pier601.
VANESSA MOFU
Vanessa Mofu is a senior majoring in Communication Studies, with a focus in studio and video production, and Integrated Marketing Communication. Their minor in Middle Eastern and Islamic Studies has inspired them to launch the podcast "No Sir," which delves into topics surrounding religion, leftist politics, and internet culture. As the Public Relations Manager for the Communication Studies Society, Vanessa is dedicated to crafting engaging social media content and branding strategies. Beyond their role as a content creator, they are also a talented portrait artist, avid coffee enthusiast, and passionate about sustainable fashion, where they flip second-hand clothes. Vanessa is excited to come back to Pier601, where they look forward to making a meaningful impact with clients and advancing their career aspirations to become a marketing and creative director.
CELINE LEDOUX
Celine LeDoux is a senior at UNCW with majors in French and Communication with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication and a minor in Leadership Studies. She serves as the Marketing Coordinator for Atlantis Magazine, a nationally recognized arts and literary magazine on campus, and is a member of CSS. She is a member of both Lambda Pi Eta and the Phi Delta Phi honors societies. She has experience in social media marketing, journalism, content creation, and design through multiple internship positions. She loves the outdoors, spending time with friends and family, being active, reading, and playing piano.
PEYTON FIELDS
Peyton Fields is a senior at UNCW majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communications, and a minor in Assistance Dog Training. She is currently the fundraising chair for the Communication Studies Society and a member of the Lambda Pi Eta honors society. Peyton has a background in corporate communications, marketing, and social media. She is planning to utilize those skills in Pier601 and post-grad. She loves to read, spend time outside, do things with friends, and listen to music.
EVA KLAUSER
Eva Klauser is a senior at UNCW with a major in Communication Studies and a minor in Studio Art. She loves all things outdoors including surfing, reading, playing pickleball, and especially unwinding by looking for shark teeth in Wrightsville Beach. She has done branding design for local businesses at home in the Outer Banks and is interested in a future in advertising and marketing. She is excited to use her video editing skills, design ideas, knowledge about art and how it can draw attention, and overall creative mind in Pier601 to set her up for the future!
SOPHIA SPELLISCY
Sophia Spelliscy is a senior majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication at UNCW. She serves as the Marketing Manager for UNCW Campus Life and is a Social Media Coordinator for the Association for Campus Entertainment. Sophia has experience in Adobe Creative Cloud, social media marketing, Canva, photography, and video editing. She loves drawing, traveling, and spending time with her dog, Bernie, in her free time!
CLAIRE BUSH
Claire Bush is a senior from Charlotte, NC. Claire is majoring in Communication Studies with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC). She is apart of Lambda Pi Eta and plans to graduate with a bachelor's degree in spring 2025. Claire has completed a marketing internship and is interested in a future in marketing and public relations, having experience in website design, video editing, and in Adobe Creative Cloud. In her free time, she enjoys playing pickle ball, cleaning, listening to podcasts, and shopping! Claire is excited to learn more about graphic design through Pier 601.
VALENCIA STETLER
Valencia Stetler is a senior majoring in Communication Studies at UNCW. She loves going on walks, going to the beach, and hanging out with friends. After graduating she hopes to find a job focusing on event planning. She has experience with content creation and is excited to work with new clients through Pier 601!
ANNA SHARP
Anna Sharp is a senior from Holly Springs, NC. Anna is majoring in Communication Studies with a minor in Business. She plans on graduating with a bachelor's degree in December 2024 and is excited to pursue a career in Public Relations or Integrating Marking Communication! She has experience as a Content Marketer, specializing in content writing, brand design, IMC strategy, and proficiency in Adobe services. Anna is extremely excited to bring her skills and expertise to Pier601! Outside of school, Anna enjoys going on walks, going to the beach, reading, working out, and hanging out with her friends.
RACHAEL TYDINGS
Rachael Tydings is a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, majoring in Communication Studies. She is from Carteret County, NC where she has worked as a notary and paralegal for the law firm, Enecks & Enecks for nearly 3 years. In her free time she volunteers for a 501(C)3 animal rescue called Misplaced Mutts where she co-created a promotional video, reaching over 13.9K views. Upon graduation, she hopes to secure a position in a company where she can use her talent and expertise to make a positive impact.
MARY DAVIS
Mary Davis is a senior studying a Communication Major at UNCW. She hopes to pursue a career in Brand Management and Marketing in the future. She currently works in the Accounting office at Atlantic Marine and in her free time she supports Seaside Soirées, a local business, with planning and coordinating their events. After Graduation, she will work full time in the Accounting office while helping management and correspondents within Seaside Soirées.
MARLEE CASTELLANOS
Marlee is a Senior at UNCW majoring in Communication Studies with a focus in Integrated Marketing Communication. She currently works with Socialry Marketing as a Social Media Specialist and also does freelance work in social media and design. In her free time, she loves hanging out with her friends, going to the beach, and playing with her dog Willow. She loves Wilmington and hopes to work in marketing here after graduating this December.
KRISTEN VEST
Kristen Vest is a senior at UNCW majoring in Communication Studies with a focus on Integrated Marketing Communication. She has over five years of marketing experience in banking and currently works as a Business Analyst at First Citizens Bank, where she manages commercial website requests from Lines of Business. Kristen’s proudest achievement is assisting in the complete rebranding of a community bank in her hometown. She is eager to apply her marketing expertise to support Pier601 clients. In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time with her family.
GABI RAFFE
Gabi Raffe is a senior at UNCW from Charlotte, NC. Gabi is a Communication Studies major with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication. She is in her senior year at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Gabi plans to graduate in the spring of 2025 and hopes to pursue a career in advertising. In addition to Pier601, she is an active member of Lambda Pi Eta honor society. Gabi has experience in social media marketing, graphic design, IMC strategy, and event planning. In her free time she enjoys spending time at Wrightsville Beach, running, scrapbooking, and spending time with family and friends.
MARANDA SMITH-CROWE
Maranda Smith-Crowe is a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington from Haywood County NC. She is majoring in Communication Studies, focusing in Integrated Marketing, and has a minor in Leadership. Maranda currently works on campus for Campus Life as a Leadership Educator and Campus Activities Intern. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, hiking, the gym, and pottery. Maranda plans on going to grad school at App State for Higher Education. She is so excited to further her skill set in Pier601!
JAMIE NITZ
Jamie Nitz is from Winston Salem, NC and is a senior at UNCW. Jamie is a Communication major with a concentration in Integrated Marketing and is double minoring in Health and Yoga. Her plan is to graduate in the Spring of 2025 and pursue a career involving yoga. Jamie dreams of using her communication and integrated marketing skills to one day open up her own yoga studio. In her free time, she enjoys walking The Loop at Wrightsville Beach, visiting local coffee shops, and crafting.
GRACE KAMMERER
Grace Kammerer is a senior at UNCW from West Chester, PA. Grace is a Communication Studies major with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communication. Her plan is to graduate in the Spring of 2025 and dedicate some of her time to doing seasonal work in the west coast or Australia. After that she plans to pursue a career in Marketing or PR. Grace plans to carry all that she has learned from her communication degree with her into the professional world. In her free time, she loves being with friends, staying active, and writing.
