Lauren Phelps is a Senior at UNCW studying Communication Studies and International Studies. She is a member of Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society and enjoys marketing and advertising. Lauren hopes to one day pursue a career in marketing and social media management. When Lauren is not at school or at her internship, she enjoys reading, traveling, watching the sunrise, and volunteering as much as possible. One interesting fact about Lauren is that she has traveled to almost 20 countries!
John Karcher
Chad Greenberg is from Baltimore, MD and is graduating in May 2017 with a B.A in Communication Studies. Graphic Design and IMC have been Chad’s area of interest in Communication Studies. After graduating, Chad plans to apply to a graduate program at the Maryland Institute College of Art to pursue a post baccalaureate certificate in Graphic Design. Some things Chad is interested in is photography, rock n roll, surfing, and reading. His favorite band is The Growlers and never misses a NFL football game when the Baltimore Ravens are playing!

Luke Terrell was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and is graduating in December 2017 with a B.A. in Communication Studies. After graduation, he hopes to work in the IMC field. In his free time Luke enjoys playing basketball, and in the summers you can find him working as a kayak guide!

Laura Rojas is from Chapel Hill, NC and is graduating in May with a B.A in Communication Studies. She is co-president of TealTV, UNCW’s student-led production network. In the past year, she has completed internships in public relations, marketing, and consulting. After graduation, Laura would love to pursue a career in the PR/marketing field within music, television, or film. In her free time Laura enjoys the beach, playing the ukulele, editing montage videos of her travels, creating playlists, and going to the movies.
Austin Crouch is from High Point, NC and is graduating in May 2017 with B.A. in Communication Studies and a minor in psychology. Austin is also the Marketing Director for UNCW TealTV, which is UNCW’s student led production network. He is also a member of Lambda Pi Eta and a member of the French Club. He enjoys playing the guitar and running with his dog, Cooper. After graduation, his plan is to move out west to market TV shows and movies.
Kyndall DySard is from Wake Forest, NC and is graduating in May with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a minor in Political Science. After graduation, Kyndall hopes to stay in Wilmington and work at an Integrated Marketing Communication or Advertising Firm. During her time at UNCW, she has become captivated with creating websites and has created five websites to date! Kyndall is actively involved on and off campus, where she is the Co-President of TealTV, President of the First Year Spring Admit Mentors, a member of Lambda Pi Eta, and works part-time as the Marketing Manager at CAP3. When she’s not busy, you can most likely find her rewatching The Office.
Chelsea Vassaur is a senior from Fayetteville, NC that is majoring in Communication Studies with specific interests in marketing and advertising. She is an Induction Chair member for Lambda Pi Eta and is a part of the Communication Studies Society, Scuba Club and Barbell Club. After graduating, Chelsea would like to film and photograph marine life to raise awareness and conservation for our oceans. She also hopes to travel and find a job where she could use her energetic and positive energy to help grow a company. In Chelsea’s free time she likes doing absolutely anything with her golden retriever, Emma Grace. She also loves scuba diving, paddle boarding, working out and doing anything outside and in the water. One interesting fact about Chelsea is that she has been a vegan for almost a year now!
Gabe Moore, Emerald Isle, NC, is a Communication Studies Major graduating in May 2017. As an enthusiast of, any and all, athletic activities, it would not be unusual to find him playing street hockey, driving a golf cart on the links, or searching the coastline of Puerto Rico for the best waves. Watching creative video edits/films of these sports inspired his focus on digital media production. His post grad plan includes enjoying work in marketing/advertising and maintaining a healthy and fun lifestyle near the beach.
Kayla Millie is a senior studying Communication Studies at UNCW, and is a member of Lambda Pi Eta Honor Society. IMC and advertising have held Kayla’s interest during her time in the Communication Studies department. After graduation, Kayla hopes to pursue a career in social media management or digital marketing. When not in school or working, Kayla enjoys the outdoors and hanging out with her dog, Lilo. Before attending UNCW, Kayla was a student at East Carolina University, but the beach brought her to The Dub.
Logan Harle is a senior at UNCW, majoring in Communication Studies, with a minor in Journalism. She is a member of the Communication Studies National Honor Society, Lambda Pi Eta. She has a passion for writing and reporting, and has wrote for multiple news outlets during her time at UNCW. She recently studied abroad in Oslo, Norway, to report on Oslo’s notorious music scene. Her interests also include marketing and public relations. After she graduates in May, she hopes to travel and find a career where she can apply her skills in writing and marketing. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, live music, and walks with her dachshund, Bubba.
