Coastal Stories

Coastal Stories is an interdisciplinary team at UNCW that brings together science and communication. The goal of Coastal Stories is to properly and effectively communicate weather emergencies and changes to the public.

 Our Work

The Pier601 Creative team came up with the name, brand identity guide, and logo, and also took professional headshots for Coastal Stories. The team collaborated to not only utilize UNCW’s color scheme, but what it means to be part of this interdisciplinary team. The name, logo, and brand identity encompasses the communication of weather emergencies to the public. The headshots were taken outside of Leutze Hall on UNCW’s campus to establish a professional appeal and represent the team’s role in the communication field.
