Kendyl Bradley
Kendyl Bradley was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is a Senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and will be receiving her BA in Communication Studies with a minor in Digital Arts. She is a member of the UNCW Women’s Club Basketball team and serves as the media coordinator. Much of her free time is spent traveling, doing freelance graphic design work, taking and editing pictures, and creating short films. Her long-time love for being behind the camera has translated into her collegiate experience and is further inspiring her to strive to make a career out of her videography and photography passions. She hopes to create content that will make a difference in her community. Her dream job is to travel the world and help people by bringing their dreams, struggles, and passions to light through social media, photography, and film.
Coleman neal
Coleman, a native of Jacksonville North Carolina, is a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington who is majoring in Communication Studies. He is currently completing an internship with the UNCW Office of University Relations, as well as the UNCW Athletic Department. After receiving his B.A. in Communication Studies from UNCW, Coleman plans to work for a media production company while receiving a M.A. in Communication Studies.
Connor irey
Connor Irey is a senior from Raleigh,North Carolina. He will graduate from UNC-Wilmington in May with a degree in Communication Studies. Prior to UNC-Wilmington Connor attended Huntingdon College, a small school located in Montgomery Alabama where he played collegiate lacrosse. Connor plays for the club lacrosse team at UNC Wilmington. After college he plans on pursuing a career in sports marketing.
Lizzy RegnerY
Lizzy Regnery was raised in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She is a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington with a B.A. in Communication Studies and a minor in Digital Arts. She is a member of Phi Mu Sorority and Lambda Pi Eta Communication Honors Society. She has a passion for graphic design and silversmithing. Lizzy is the owner of her own jewelry business called Silverskull Jewelry. Taught by her grandfather, creating sterling silver jewelry has become her way of connecting generations with timeless adornments. When Lizzy is not in her workshop or spending time with her friends and family; she enjoys working out, cooking healthy meals and spending time at the beach.
Logan Matthews
Logan Matthews, born in Wilmington North Carolina, is a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington pursuing a B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in Psychology. He is a member of the National Communication Studies Honor Society, Lambda Pi Eta. Logan plans to pursue a career in a marketing agency where he can use his strategic writing skills and love for social media to help develop and promote various brands. In his free time, Logan enjoys listening to a wide range of music and hanging out with his friends and family.
Andrew Williams
Andrew, born in High Point North Carolina, is a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. He will graduate with a B.A. in Communication Studies with a double minor in Non-Profit Leadership and Management as well as Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He is currently the Program Assistant of Facility Operations at the UNCW Student Recreation Center. Upon graduating, Andrew desires to become a Public Relations Specialist. Andrew one day seeks to open and run his own Non-Profit. In his free time, Andrew loves to travel and discover new local coffee shops.
Alex Patton
Alex Patton was born in Podolsk, Russia and was raised in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He is a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington who will earn his B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in Psychology this coming May. In addition to the curriculum he is currently undertaking, Alex has interned at the local ABC station, been a mentor to incoming freshmen, and a tour guide on campus. Patton’s post-graduation plans consist of applying to a variety of different graduate programs around the nation, in hopes of pursuing a career in management.
Amanda Salerno
Amanda Salerno is a senior communication studies major at UNCW. A former UNCW “Hawtie Hawks” dance team member, she spends most of her free time dancing, doing yoga, creating various mediums of art, and reading. People are her passion, and she approaches any situation with an altruistic attitude. She has had multiple internships throughout her collegiate career, ranging from a Wedding and Event coordinator for a firm in Charlotte, to an Account Executive for a mortgage company in D.C. She feels that her undergraduate experience at UNCW has enabled her to be successful in any future career, and is very appreciative to the UNCW Communication Studies Department faculty and staff.
Jordan Flaherty
Jordan Flaherty, who was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, is a graduating senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where she is pursuing a BA in Communication Studies and a minor in Journalism. She has a passion for storytelling, both in writing and visually through photography, which led her to start her own freelance photography business at the age of 16. After interning with the EDGE Marketing agency in New York City in the summer of 2018, Jordan now plans on pursuing a position within a marketing agency environment, where she can use her artistic capabilities within professional content writing, photography, social media marketing, and graphic design to build a dynamic career. She dreams of one day freelancing as a traveling photojournalist to share the stories of a variety of different cultures throughout the world. She spends her time off from being a student by doing yoga, hiking, taking care of children as a nanny, traveling, attending live music concerts and festivals, and spending time with friends and family.
Tally Pavel
Tally Pavel is a Senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, earning a B.A. in Communication Studies and minor Digital Art. She loves all things art and design and hopes to one day become a Creative Director for a large ad agency. She is active on campus as a Resident Assistant, Co-President for Her Campus (a nationally recognized magazine for college women), and a freelance artist. You can usually find her creating content in her sketch book or on her IPad around Wilmington.
Olivia Dinome
Olivia DiNome was raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington and be will receiving her BA in Communication Studies with two minors in Spanish and Entrepreneurship and Business Development. She is a member of Alpha Xi Delta women’s fraternity, Lambda Pi Eta Communication Honors Society, and The Order of Omega Leadership Honors Society. She has a passion for event planning and currently is an intern with A Noble Events and Designs here in Wilmington, NC. Olivia is also the owner and designer of her own eclectic jewelry company where she creates and sells custom pieces to individuals and boutiques locally and in Charlotte. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, spending time with friends and family, and kickboxing.
Ali Carswell
Ali Carswell, born in Greensboro North Carolina, is a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. She will be receiving her BA in Communication Studies with her focus being Integrated Marketing Communication with a minor in Psychology. She is a member of the UNCW Cheerleading team, Lambda Pi Eta Communication Studies Honor Society and has been involved in the Communication Studies Society as well. Ali is currently an intern at Fluent PR in downtown Wilmington. In her free time, she enjoys drinking coffee, eating tacos and hanging out with friends and family.
Blaine Blackburn
Blaine Blackburn is currently completing her final semester of school at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. With a degree in Integrated Marketing Communication, she has discovered a love for digital design. A few things to know to understand her: she is a Chic-Fil-A breakfast connoisseur and a Leo, she can often be found deep in Spotify searches, and she enjoys learning through others to get the absolute most out of her own experiences. Originally from Raleigh, NC, she longs to see the world from a different angle and wants to be where creative communication is.
Jennifer Mabes
Jennifer Mabes is currently a senior at UNCW and will be earning a BA in Communication Studies with a minor in Studio Art this spring. She is the president of Communication Studies Society and is a marketing coordinator for ACE Films here on campus (yes, she makes all of the movie posters!) Jennifer is passionate about graphic design, interior design, and photography. She has recently interned with Wilmington Today and Remedy Digital Agency and is currently interning as a social media coordinator with DREAMS of Wilmington. She will soon start a part time job as a barista at Grinders Caffe! While she isn't busy on campus, she's usually at home playing with her two cats or in a tea shop somewhere!

Dr. Jeanne Persuit
Jeanne Persuit (Ph.D., Duquesne University, 2009) teaches courses in integrated marketing communication (IMC), public relations, advertising, rhetorical theory, and communication ethics at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Before returning to Duquesne University for her Ph.D., Dr. Persuit worked in IMC in the consulting engineering field and was a marketing communications manager for a Fortune 500 manufacturing company. While a doctoral student at Duquesne, Dr. Persuit helped pilot the IMC Commission - a group of undergraduate and graduate students who worked on projects for clients on- and off-campus - and she wanted to work with Dr. Bolduc on a similar project at UNCW.
Dr. Bill Bolduc
Bill Bolduc (Ph.D. Mass Communication, Florida State University) is an Associate Professor of Communication Studies who teaches courses in field video production, audio production and media literacy. He has passion for teaching and for seeing his students develop and produce creative, informative and dynamic productions. Bill produces, directs and films a variety of projects ranging from study abroad promotional videos to performance ethnography narratives. When possible he involves students in his productions because of his commitment to providing applied learning opportunities.
